Vivaldi Singers

Founded in 1987, the Vivaldi Singers is a mixed voice choir of around 30 members. We perform a wide range of music in all styles from the 15th century to modern compositions; from the light-hearted to the serious.

We are a friendly choir of diverse abilities, from enthusiastic beginners to highly experienced semi-professionals. Our main aim is to perform a wide variety of music from different genres, often introducing our audiences to new composers alongside enduring favourites. We perform with a varied and interesting selection of musical ensembles, from string quartets to brass bands.

Vivaldi Singers present at least two major choral events each year in Farnham, Surrey. Our venues include the United Reformed Church, St Andrew's Parish Church, St Thomas on the Bourne and Farnham Castle, as well as further afield across the South of England. At Christmas time, we often sing carols outdoors in the town centre. We also regularly perform at weddings and other occasions.

Over the years, the Vivaldi Singers have raised a substantial amount of funds for Challengers, Macmillian Cancer Trust and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice through its singing endeavours. Other charitable organisations supported in the past include the National Asthma Campaign, The Asthma Hardship Fund in Farnham, Chase, Guide Dogs and Bells Piece.
