MUSICAL DIRECTOR WANTED

For Vivace! - a long established choir based in Ditchling.

• Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm at The Old Meeting House.
• An eclectic repertoire embracing many styles old and new, light and classical.
• We are not a community choir. Singers have to be able to hold their own line. Many of our singers belong to local choral societies and other choirs.
• We perform several fund raising concerts a year throughout Sussex for a variety of charities and good causes. Over £120,000 raised since we formed in 2003.
• We take our music seriously and aim for high performance standards (although we do still like our rehearsals to be fun!)
• Ideally we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Musical Director with keyboard skills who shares our values of producing quality concerts and supporting fundraising in the local community.
• There is a modest fee payable.
