Composers for Streetwise Opera's Unseen project

Streetwise Opera is looking for three composers, one each in London, Manchester and Nottingham, to work with soprano Abigail Kelly and people with lived experience of homelessness to co-create a three-act opera inspired by, and responding to, the music of composers of African and Caribbean heritage, including Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Joseph Bologne (Chevalier de Saint-Georges), George Bridgetower and Margaret Bonds.

The fee is £3,500 for composition, notation, recording and four co-creation sessions with the local Streetwise Opera group. The deadline is 5pm on Friday 7 April. Apply online.
