Shepton Mallet Big Band

The Shepton Mallet Big Band is a community band with 21 members. We meet to rehearse every Monday evening and perform in public several times a year for local community events such as carnivals and fetes as well as promoting our own events. We play a wide range of material from the 1940 through to arrangements of more modern rock and soul music. We have 3 singers who cover our wide range of styles. We would welcome new members who can read music to grade 5 equivalent and enjoy our style of music.
