The People's Orchestra

The People’s Orchestra is a diverse mix of talented musicians who come together as a full orchestra or in smaller groups to create and perform shows in venues across the Midlands.
With a varied repertoire of Film, TV, Games & Show music, light classical & popular pieces the public recognise, our well attended concerts attract families, new and seasoned concert goers alike. The People’s Orchestra attracts a high percentage of new audience members who have never seen an orchestra play live before. Through operating such a busy orchestra, the charity has developed a very successful volunteer programme which helps local unemployed people back into work. It help to increase people’s confidence and wellbeing through personal financial stability and growth. The Orchestra also has a choir section to accompany the Orchestra on occasions.
