Hull Bach Choir

The Hull Bach Choir has a well-established reputation in East Yorkshire for high quality performances of the world’s greatest and most popular choral works, especially in the Baroque repertoire, ably accompanied by local and not so local instrumental players who form the Hull Bach Orchestra. We are an expanding group of around 48 singers and perform four concerts a year in local churches, including a carol concert in December. Although our main repertoire is from the Baroque era, we are starting to introduce some more modern pieces into our repertoire and have performed compositions written by members at smaller events such as the carol concert and afternoon concerts. New members are always welcome - there is no audition, but some ability to read music is desirable.
