Horsham Chamber Choir

HORSHAM CHAMBER CHOIR, founded in 1967, has about 28 members who live in and around Horsham. As well as giving three concerts in Horsham each season the Choir has also visited cathedrals to sing services, given carol concerts at Christmas and has sung in venues abroad. We have also combined with other choirs to sing large-scale works such as Elgar's Dream of Gerontius and Mahler's second symphony.

We rehearse on Thursday evenings (8-10pm) in St Leonard's Church, Cambridge Road, Horsham during school term-time.

We sing a varied repertoire, both a cappella and with professional instrumentalists and soloists. Recent programmes have included works by Bach, Brahms, Britten, Finzi, Haydn, Howells, Moeran, Monteverdi, Mozart, Palestrina, Parry, Rutter, Wallen, Vaughan Williams, Victoria and many more.

We offer a Choral Scholarship for students aged 16-19 years – please email us for further details.
