Hampshire Harmony

Hampshire Harmony (formerly Basingstoke Ladies Choir) began its music journey in 1964. It has travelled to and performed in Canada, Malta, Spain and France plus various venues in the United Kingdom. It is a choir for all ages from 18 upwards and has a varied repertoire. This includes songs from the shows, hit songs from various eras, sacred songs and songs in other languages and of course, Christmas music. A rolling programme of new music combined with old favourites keeps our repertoire fresh and appealing for both choir and audience alike.  The choir is continually evolving, aiming always for the highest standards. Our concerts give us the opportunity to raise money for our chosen charity and charities local to us. We are a friendly and caring choir and have a thriving social side that many of the members enjoy. There are theatre trips, walks, quiz nights, skittles, to name but a few. We always welcome new people. You do not need to be able to read music or to have sung in a choir before. Just listen, learn and replicate effectively. We have excellent learning resources on our website, both audio and video. Above all, like the rest of the choir, enjoy your singing and have fun.
