Goring and Streatley Concert Band

The main duties of the MD are:Repertoire – to set overall musical direction, and propose concert programmes and initiatives in agreement with the committee, usually at least one term in advance.
Conducting Rehearsals – to plan and conduct weekly rehearsals for the main band (Mondays, 8pm – 10pm), to direct the band in a clear and effective manner, and to conduct all concerts & other engagements
Band Management – to assist with recruiting and liaising with new players interested in joining the Band to actively help with the development of the Band, and to work with the committee to identify and plan forward events.
