Fylde Concert Orchestra

Fylde Concert Orchestra (FCO) is a friendly group of around 30 amateur and semi - professional players from Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester who meet in the Fylde area to rehearse and perform music to aid churches and charities with fund raising. We like to think of ourselves as a ‘pops’ type orchestra, as we play all types of music, ranging from light classical, jazz, big band, dance band, west end, Broadway, easy listening and music from the movies. The orchestra was very fortunate to have Brian Hughes MD as our music arranger, as this is quite unique to have a resident music arranger. A huge collection of music arranged by Brian for the FCO in the range of genres listed above remains a treasured legacy in the FCO.
