Dorchester Choral Society

The Dorchester Choral Society is an auditioned choir of some 80 singers. We put on 3-4 main concerts each year plus additional outreach charity concerts in the summer and around Christmas time. Dorchester Choral Society uses professional soloists and instrumentalists in our concerts and has a superb reputation for delivering high quality performances – “A top class choir in the heart of Dorset”. We are a registered charity and have strong links to local schools and to the local community . We are also linked with choirs in Dorchester’s twinned towns: Kantorei San-Andreas Lübbecke and L’Orphéon de Bayeux and perform concerts together in the UK, Germany and France.
