Carnforth & District Choral Society

Based near the border between Lancashire and Cumbria, most of our members come from the area around Morecambe, Lancaster and Kendal. We have 60 members. We perform 3 concerts each year - one at Christmas and one in March, and a lighter concert early in June/July. Our typical programme has a classical piece such as Handel's Messiah, Verdi's Requiem and similar - mainly classical -solos from guest artists, and songs for the audience to join with. Our summer concert is a new venture based on songs from the shows.
