Bletchingley Community Choir

Established in 2011 (supported by Tandridge Arts and Leisure Trust), the Bletchingley Community Choir is an independent organisation made up of a collection of like minded people who enjoy the benefits and wellbeing of singing as a group in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We are an all-age a cappella choir with a regular mix of members ranging from experienced singers to first timers all of whom enjoy the creativity and reward of performing pieces that range from simple 'rounds' to more complex five part harmonies. We don't use sheet music, the tunes we choose are easy to learn and the sound we produce is truly excellent. Having performed a few 'gigs' (not compulsory) in local pubs and village events, we're also able to boast of our 'certificate of honours' awarded to us at the Reigate & Redhill Music and Drama Festival in May 2014 and the Winners Shield in May 2019.
You don't have to live in Bletchingley, we have members from Redhill, Caterham, Godstone, Merstham and Horne. And if you're wondering what our portfolio of songs includes, we've performed Shanties, Folk Songs, Rounds, Modern songs and other popular favourites. If you want to get involved or know anyone who may want to, the first 'taster session' is free and thereafter just a small fee each week. Check out our website or find our fun-filled page on Facebook. Alternatively email paulinecbcc@gmail.com for more information.
