Winter Concert

Really hope you can join us on Saturday 9th  December for our wonderful winter concert: we'll be performing with baritone and soprano soloists and a 20-strong orchestra including harp - and who doesn't love a harp! 

We open with Finzi's incredibly atmospheric 'In Terra Pax, Christmas Scene' (inspired by Finzi hearing midnight bells ringing out across frosty Gloucestershire countryside).

Then some of the ladies will sing Britten's 'Ceremony of Carols', accompanied just by the harp - a gorgeous piece. 

The second half sees us perform a firm favourite: Rutter's 'Magnificat' (including the beautiful ‘Of a Rose, a lovely Rose’).
