The Jerwood Charitable Foundation is dedicated to imaginative and responsible funding of the arts across the UK, with a particular focus on supporting emerging talent and excellence. The aim of the funding is to allow artists and arts organisations to thrive; to continue to develop their skills, imagination and creativity with integrity.
Support is available to individuals and organisations in the United Kingdom. Organisations do not need to be registered charities providing the project has charitable aims.
The Foundation supports artists or arts professionals who are not currently in formal education or training and who are based in the UK. Registered charities, individuals and organisations which are not registered as charities are all eligible to apply as long as their activity is charitable and meets the Foundation's aims.
Large grants refer to recurring relationships over a period of years, or to awards of more than £10,000. Small grants are for one-off projects, generally under £10,000.
