Dulwich Festival 2025: London Choirs Invited to Join Spectacular Vocal Showcase
Tongue and Groove Choir Opens Applications for 14th Annual Choral Event
The vibrant South London-based Tongue and Groove Choir is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the highly anticipated 2025 Dulwich Festival choir event. Set to take place on Sunday, 11th May 2025, at the prestigious Dulwich College.
For over a decade, Tongue and Groove Choir has been the driving force behind this annual choral celebration, bringing together diverse voices from across the capital. As they prepare for their 14th year, they're extending a warm invitation to London's finest choirs to join them on stage for an unforgettable afternoon of harmony and community spirit.
"We're incredibly excited to once again open our arms to the wealth of vocal talent London has to offer," says Robin Thompson, Director of Tongue and Groove Choir. "This event has become a cornerstone of the Dulwich Festival, and we can't wait to see what new dimensions this year's participating choirs will bring to our collective sound."
The event welcomes choirs of up to 80 members, with a particular focus on those that perform with piano accompaniment, other live instruments, or a cappella. Past performances have featured an eclectic mix of musical styles, showcasing the rich diversity of London's choral scene. Notable past participants include The Meantime Chorus, The London Gay Men's Chorus, and The Mike King Collective.
Interested choirs are encouraged to apply early, as spots are limited and highly sought after.
