Music from the Movies

South Birmingham Sinfonia presents an afternoon concert of music from the movies.  From Walt Disney's Fantasia films, we present Dukas Scorcerer's Apprentice and extracts from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker ballet and Beethoven's Symphony no. 5, followed by the film music of John Williams for the movies E.T., Schindler's List, Jaws and Star Wars.
