Kashperova orchestral workshop

A one-day workshop on the Symphony in B minor by Kashperova - perhaps best-known today as piano teacher to Stravinsky but whose music was well-known and highly regarded before the 1917 Russian revolution - under conductor Tess Jackson.

Rehearsals take place in the morning and afternoon, and the day culminates in Open Rehearsal/informal playthrough at the end of the afternoon.

Applications are invited from orchestral players over the age of eighteen, playing at Grade 8-plus.

Strings are led by a team of experienced professional section principals.
