The Hour Glass

Londinium (chamber choir) | Andrew Griffiths (conductor)

In a typically inventive and alluring programme, London chamber choir Londinium draws together a fascinating selection of choral music exploring Time and its passing. Highlights include the American Irving Fine's virtuosic suite The Hour-Glass, rarely heard on this side of the Atlantic, and the world première of I saw eternity by the award-winning young composer Barnaby Martin, alongside works by such varied figures as Byrd, Chilcott, Ligeti, Pärt and Stanford.

"Impressive accomplishment and no mean flair" (Gramophone)
