About the event:

Solving the planet’s problems needs everyone’s input – and music groups can do more than they think!

Join us as we discuss some of the latest success stories from our member group’s who have implemented more sustainable practices into the ways they work.

We will also be joined by members of the Making Music Green Team, Benoit Andre and Harriet Laidler, who will highlight some of the most useful resources for music groups hoping to engage further with actions against climate change – covering a range of topics including; repertoire, lobbying and advocacy, travel and more.

And finally, we will take a more in depth look at the digital carbon footprint of the cultural sector and what music groups can do to help mitigate some of these challenges, including looking at the exciting new Digital Sustainability Card Game resource!

As always, this is also an opportunity to share ideas and resources with your peers and to let Making Music know what else we can do to support you in this area.

Further guest speakers to be announced.

We'll talk about:

  • The Digital Sustainability Card Game
  • The Making Music Green Award
  • Tips and resources we want to share with each other
  • Further support from Making Music
  • Anything else that arises on the topic!

There will be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat function during the event.
