Description of vacancy:
Music for Everyone is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced conductor to lead their Junior Voices choir for children of ages 7-10. The choir rehearses weekly during term-time on Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm at the Nottingham Emmanuel School (NG2 7YF). They work towards a concert performance at the end of each term. The singers recently participated in the Music for Youth Festival and are currently preparing for a part in the Jonathan Dove opera, Tobias and the Angel at the Nottingham Cathedral Music Festival in June.
There is also the opportunity for other freelance work at our Vocals youth singing courses (http://www.music-for-everyone.org/whats-on/youth-music/vocals/) and possible schools workshops.
Rate of pay for rehearsals: £26 per hour
