The responsibility that lies with Chairs and other leaders of music organisations can feel overwhelming, particularly in times of change. Making Music is hosting this meetup so you can connect with others in the same role, and talk about your challenges and successes.
At this meet up we’ll focus on future planning with our groups. There are so many jobs to be done today that finding the time and energy to think about tomorrow is a challenge. How can we motivate our committees and members to plan for the future, so our groups don’t crash into unforeseen problems and continue to flourish? We’ll talk about simple succession planning, to prepare for inevitable change. And our guest speaker will bring us a creative idea of how to get committee members and your group talking about a positive future and how to get there.
