Brass Vacancies

As Ashford Concert Band enters its third decade, after celebrating its 20th anniversary last year, we currently have vacancies across our Brass section, particularly in the trumpet/cornet section.

We are a sociable group of likeminded musicians, with a strong community and charitable ethos, so if you can support us in our growth and contribute to the success of the Band, we're the perfect fit for you.

We regularly play around Ashford and the surrounding areas from Spring through to Autumn, and host highly successful Summer and Christmas concerts in the town, along with bandstand performances and local events. Our range of music stretches from film classics and pop medleys to more traditional wind band pieces.

There are no formal entry requirements to the band, other than an expectation that members can read music and are at least to Grade 3 standard. Rehearsals take place weekly on a Thursday evening in Ashford (Kent).
