Lucis Choir

Directed by Francis Faux, LUCIS is a mixed-voice choir founded in 2014 and has quickly established itself as one of the leading choirs in the Southwest. Since its inception, the choir have toured the Czech Republic and United States and have performed in a number of prestigious concert venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Cadogan Hall, Wiltshire Music Centre and Bath Abbey.
In 2017, LUCIS Chamber Choir was formed and recently recorded the world premiere of Russell Hepplewhite's Easter Carol.

We welcome new members in all parts, particularly tenors. There are no formal auditions - all that is required is a passion for choral music. Rehearsals are normally held in St Luke's Church, Bath on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm.
