Occasional volunteering
We welcome volunteers from our member groups to help us with one-off tasks, such as assisting with processing renewals, making phone calls, or helping out at an event (whether in-person or online). We usually send a callout to everyone on our volunteer database whenever a task like this comes up, asking volunteers to let us know if they are available to do it. Long-term volunteering
Making Music sometimes recruits volunteers for specific, long-term volunteering vacancies, which we will share here when they become available. Our long-term vacancies are open to both members and non-members.

We want to welcome a wide diversity of people into volunteering roles. If you see any barriers to you making an application to be a volunteer, or taking up a role, please let us know. We can work with you to make adaptations to the application process or your volunteer working environment.
