Crescendo

What is Crescendo? Well, we're called many things. Some call us a choir, some call us a community choir, and others a music and drama club….

However, here are some interesting facts about us:

¨ most of the people involved said ‘I cannae really sing’ when they joined us for the first time – come along and judge for yourself whether or not that's the case!

¨ all the people involved really enjoy what they’re doing and we hope you do too

¨ we meet weekly in Anderston, Glasgow, and some travel to join us

¨ we span the generations – from the twenties to the nineties!

¨ in most shows the main parts and the big songs go to the best singers; in Crescendo the main parts and the big songs go not only to the best singers, but also to anyone who wants to give it a go – and to get better. That’s why we’re called Crescendo – we are all gradually growing!
