Music Director

Our current MD is leaving us at Christmas because of personal circumstances and  therefore the Athenaeum Singers of Warminster are unexpectedly now seeking an experienced dynamic Music Director, ideally  to start in January 2020

We are a non-auditioned mixed voice choir of 65-70 singers, normally performing 2 concerts a year, although 3 are planned for 2020 (April, June and November/December). We generally perform from the classical choral music repertoire but also enjoy new challenges; the choir has performed two World Premieres in the recent past. We are looking for someone who will continue the work of our current MD in improving the quality of the choir’s sound and enhancing our enjoyment of singing.

Rehearsals take place at Christ Church in Warminster on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm. For further information on the choir please check on www.athenaeumsingers.com
