Cheltenham Bach Choir
Cheltenham Bach Choir has been recognised as one of the leading amateur choral societies in the South West of England.
Founded the year after the end of WW2, the choir's repertoire includes the works of many composers from Britain, Europe and beyond, as well as the marvellous works of J.S. Bach. CBC's repertoire spans six centuries - from the early Baroque period of the 17th century to the present day The choir is always accompanied by professional orchestras and soloists, and makes a point of engaging young soloists at the beginning of their musical careers.
With over 100 auditioned singing members, the choir performs 4 scheduled concerts in superb venues in Gloucestershire, including Cheltenham Town Hall, Tewkesbury Abbey and the beautiful parish church in Cirencester.
