Fixed term for 40 weekly sessions, £124 per session, starting from 26th March, deadline to apply 11th March 2019
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead a new refugee choir based in Southwark. You will teach songs using the call and response method and have experience in leading a singing group. You will be an exceptional communicator with an ability to use music to bring together a group of refugees, some with limited English language skills, in a shared endeavour to sing. You will help the choir to develop in a way with which the participants as a group are all comfortable with, and will lead their participation in a performance.
To apply, please email voiceswelcomerecruitment@gmail.com with your CV (including links to any video or web content about choirs which you have run) and a covering letter, the latter describing how you feel you meet the job and person description criteria.
