Description of vacancy:
One of the best large amateur choirs in the South West is looking for an Assistant Conductor. The new Assistant would sing in the choir (Thursday evening rehearsals) and be available to take occasional rehearsals as required. Sole responsibility would be to the resident Director of Music, Christopher Fletcher. He or she would be a confident musician, who is preferably familiar with the major choral works and able to play a part in helping the choir maintain high standards in its three annual concerts.
