Musical Director

Peebles choir InChorus is looking for a new Musical Director.

InChorus is an established SATB choir of around 80 members who love to sing all kinds of contemporary music, mainly a cappella, from rock and pop to modern classical. The choir from Peebles in the Scottish Borders is well travelled, enjoying a wide range of events from concert halls and festivals to weddings and smaller performances. A charity itself, InChorus has raised thousands of pounds for other charities.

InChorus is no ordinary choir. All members are auditioned and work hard to maintain the reputation they have earned for vibrant accomplished performances.

InChorus has ambitious plans for the future to ensure that it continues to develop and improve, and is seeking a Musical Director, with experience of leading adult groups, who will assist in advancing the choir’s aspirations. This person will have all the attributes to achieve this in terms of musical ability and communication skills. They will have a flair for creativity and a sense of adventure. The new MD will have the back up of established leadership from the choir committee and section leaders.
