Assistant Musical Director/Accompanist

Banbury Choral Society seeks an accompanist with the opportunity (if desired) of taking the role of Assistant Musical Director.

We are an all-inclusive and friendly mixed choir of around 60 singers of varied ages and mixed abilities. We meet on Monday evenings from 7.30 to 9:30pm during term time at Marlborough Road Methodist Church, Banbury, and enjoy occasional social events throughout the year.

The Society was founded over 75 years ago. Since then we have enjoyed the continuity of rehearsing and then performing our music in and around Banbury. We generally perform three concerts each year, and our repertoire has always been varied and challenging, our last concert being Mendelssohn Elijah.

We offer a competitive professional rate of pay by negotiation.
