Wavelength A Cappella

Founded by a group of friends in 2016, Wavelength A Cappella are a small, women’s choir who rehearse on Tuesday evenings at The Bourne Academy in East Howe. Our repertoire consists of a range of popular songs from across the years, with some modern pop and rock, some jazz classics and some light classical in the pipe-line.

We sing three and four-part songs in the A Cappella style, without musical accompaniment. This form of music making is very adaptable and aims to produce beautiful harmonies using the voice alone.

We are a friendly group and although our ages range from the early twenties upwards, we all get on very well and will, every month or so, finish early in order to eat some cake and have a chat. Our singers come from far and wide, Christchurch, Ringwood and the greater Bournemouth and Poole area.
