The Vaughan Williams Singers

Vaughan Williams Singers is a mixed-voice chamber choir based in the market town of Dorking in the Surrey Hills.

The choir sings a wide range of music, with a leaning towards 20th and 21st century a cappella works.

We are named after Dorking’s most illustrious musical resident, Ralph Vaughan Williams, whose choral music features in our repertoire.

Vaughan Williams Singers was founded in January 2018 by its Musical Director, Ian Assersohn and respected choral consultant Amy Bebbington.

Vaughan Williams Singers rehearses weekly during term-time on Tuesday evenings at The Priory School in Dorking. Entry to the choir is by audition. If you would like to sing with Vaughan Williams Singers, and you are an experienced choral singer and confident music reader then we would love to hear from you.
