Coats Choral

Coats Choral ( formerly Thomas Coats Memorial Choral Society) is a long established choral society based in Paisley. The choir rehearses in central Paisley on Tuesday evenings from January to mid March, with a small number of Friday rehearsals near to the concert. We are in good commuting distance from Glasgow. We perform one concert a year in March in Paisley Abbey. We perform from the major choral repertoire with an orchestra. No audition is required to join the choir; our singers come from a wide geographical area and many are experienced singers who are members of other choirs but enjoy doing one concert a year in a large choir with an orchestra. We have appointed a new Musical Director for 2025 season and are looking forward to working with Alison McNeill.
