Carlisle Music Society

Carlisle Music Society (formerly North Cumbria Recitals) arranges six concerts a year in the months of September, October, November/December, January, February and March. At these concerts musicians of the highest calibre perform chamber music of all genres including piano and vocal recitals, string (and other) quartets and trios, and sometimes works for larger ensemble. Concerts are held in the Carlisle Cathedral Fratry with superb acoustics, in the centre of Carlisle.
