Carlisle Community Choir

Initially founded in 2012 by the Trinity Area Community Trust and with a membership of over 100, we are an open access choir made up of people from across Carlisle and beyond who just love making music together. We are always open to new members, there is no audition process and there is no requirement for members to be able to read music. We pride ourselves in giving members opportunities in singing they may not have had before. The choir brings together people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to sing a wide variety of music from the classical to more modern under the directorship of Ellen Mawhinney with accompanist Kristine Donnan.
