About
Amber Valley Voices is a mixed Community Choir which started in 2014 and meets in the Derbyshire village of Swanwick . We have 100 members who sing in 4 part harmony, led by Musical Director Angie Cope and Accompanist Chris Lawry
The choir welcomes anyone who wants to sing regardless of experience or ability - those who can read music and those who do not. Our relaxed rehearsals provide a fun, social and caring environment in which to learn to sing, and we organise a variety of social events for members.
We rehearse weekly in term-time, hold 2 main concerts per year when we invite local musicians to join us as guests and we regularly sing by request at other local events.
