Allegra

Allegra is a group of adult ladies who come together to discover the joy of music, have fun, and assist charitable causes. We are based in Newport South Wales and rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm at St Julian’s Baptist Church, Beaufort Road NP19 7PZ

Since forming in 2011, the choir has flourished into a thriving, talented group. We are proud of our diverse membership and welcome everyone who loves to sing, from complete beginners to experienced choristers. We have a large and varied concert programme which has been updated since our return to singing in June 2021.

We are supported by an experienced musical team who work hard to ensure that we sound the best we can and who encourage us to work hard to reach our full potential.
