The aim of this programme is to support individuals and organisations who have experienced barriers to accessing Arts Council Wales funding. Creative Steps aims to address this by supporting artists, creatives, and organisations throughout their developmental journey.
You can apply if your organisation is led by ethnically and culturally diverse people, Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent people, or people who have experienced racism or discrimination.
The Allan Lane Foundation is offering grants of between £5,000 and £25,000 to charities and not-for-profit organisations working with young people aged 12-21 who are socially excluded or marginalised, and who may have experienced significant issues within their lives.
The grants can be used to support a range of activities, including core costs, project work, and capital expenditure.

Small not-for-profit organisations and community groups with charitable aims can apply for grants of between £500 and £5,000 to deliver activities, projects and services that strengthen communities experiencing inequalities and disadvantage, or improve the lives of local people who face difficulties and have limited access to appropriate or affordable services and support. Particular interests within music education are music for children and adults with special needs, youth orchestras and projects at secondary and higher levels, including academic research.
The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust funds United Kingdom Registered Charities operating in the UK in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement.
The Trustees will consider applications for core costs or projects and are very conscious of the work involved in applying for a grant and encourage charities to consider whether their work aligns with the Trust’s priorities for the next three years before submitting an application.
Funding for charities with an income of less than £350,000.
Generally, when funding projects, we value projects that develop, expand and replicate a tried and tested approach but we are also interested in supporting creative solutions to problems which seem to be entrenched and elude resolution.
Boost small grants programme is for organisations supporting children and families in their local communities. It has been created to help groups that find the increases in basic running costs (for example utilities, salaries, transport) are making their work much more challenging. Boost will provide grants of £500-£3,000 to grassroots organisations and charities with a yearly income of up to £50,000 whose work benefits children and families.
