Vasari Singers is delighted to be singing live in London again on Friday February 25th with a lovely programme of French choral music with a centrepiece of the glorious Duruflé’s Requiem. The concert will take place in St Peter’s Eaton Square (a short walk from Victoria in one direction and Sloane Square in the other). We will be joined by young soloists mezzo-soprano Rebekah Jones and baritone Thomas Nießer. Our organist is prize-winning international recitalist Nicholas Wearne and our cellist is Jonny Hennessey Brown, Director of Hennessey Brown Music.
As well as the Duruflé we will be singing Grunenwald’s De profundis and Poulenc’s Four Lenten motets. This is a really lovely programme of music with which Vasari has a special affinity. We are really looking forward to sharing it with a live audience.
