With returning guest soloists, soprano Jennie Marsden, alto Rachel Gilmore, tenor Stuart Keen and baritone Paul Chamberlain,
The Manchester Bach Choir bring you
Monteverdi: Beatus Vir
Mozart: Solemn Vespers
Michael Haydn: Requiem.
The choir will be accompanied by talented musicians forming a chamber orchestra comprising harpsichord, strings, trumpets, trombones, bassoon and timpani - a musically rich assortment conducted by Jim Cooke.
All this in the setting of the vibrant but leafy heart of Didsbury. The area has plenty of good restaurants for pre or post concert dinner and drinks and is well served by public transport with the Metrolink and buses stopping close to the concert venue. There's also on-street car parking available for drivers.
