Apollo's Melody - Concert for Flute and Harp

We are delighted to welcome Lily Brown from Glasgow and Yeva Panchenko from Ukraine - they are both Masters graduates, about to launch their professional careers.

Music by Debussy, Satie, Mouquet etc.

 Lily Brown, Flute
Lily is about to graduate from her Masters in flute performance and emerge as a professional musician. Lily has been studying under the tutelage of Ruth Morley, Helen Brew, Katherine Bryan, Georgia Browne, Janet Richardson and Luke Russell. She was the winner of the Governor’s Recital Prize for Woodwind 2024. Lily and Yeva have enjoyed being coached as a duo by principal flute of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Andre Cebrian. She has been teaching children and adults since 2020, as well as undertaking professional flute playing work. Lily studied her undergraduate degree as well as her postgraduate diploma at the University of York, and her Masters degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Lily was privileged to win the Governor's Recital Prize for Woodwind in her final year of study. Lily was the woodwind tutor for the North Yorkshire County Youth Orchestra in 2022.

Yeva Panchenko, Harp
Ukrainian harpist Yeva is a harpist from Kyiv, Ukraine. After completing her Masters degree at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, she worked with National Orchestras and Ensembles of Ukraine, took part in studio recordings for the National Radio and Television of Ukraine. As part of symphony orchestra, she visited many countries in Europe, Great Britain, Asia and the Middle East. She has remained in the UK, at RCS, from the time of the start of the conflict in Ukraine. Nowadays she continues to teach students online from Ukraine, the UK and Japan. She currently continues her concert activity in Glasgow and is studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
