This year our AGM will be followed by member meet-up - this is your association, we are always interested in hearing from you!
Both events will be online with a short break in between. We expect the AGM to run from 6pm to 6.30pm and the meet up to be 6.40pm to 7.45pm. You can book to attend just the AGM, just the meet-up, or both, using the links below.
AGM
This Making Music Annual General Meeting will look back at the calendar year 2023 with Chair and Treasurer talking talk through the 2023 Annual report and accounts.
The results of Board elections will also be announced and as ever there will be a chance to ask questions on any other matters you would like to bring.
Who is this event for: Making Music Representatives of Full Members of Making Music are allowed to vote at the AGM. Other representatives from Full Members or representatives of other kinds of Members (e.g. Affiliate, Associate, Corporate) are welcome to attend as observers.

Member meet-up
Our member-meetups are a chance for members to share their ideas and experiences with like-minded people facing similar challenges. Making Music staff will also offer support and provide updates on news affecting the leisure-time music sector.
The agenda is set members; when you book your place you can let us know what topics you would like to discuss. We will use breakout rooms to discuss as many of them as possible.
Who this event is for: anyone from a member group is welcome to attend.
Cost: FREE for members
We will be using Zoom to host the meeting, and will send the joining link by email, two days and again two hours before the event is due to start.

Recording information:
We will be recording the AGM for the purpose of minute taking.
• We will announce at the beginning of the event if a recording is being made and what it will be used for
• We will usually record in speaker view, meaning only people who speak will be recorded
• If you speak, your image and voice will be captured in the recording
• Attendee names as displayed in a Zoom meeting will not be captured in the recording
• If you do not want your live image to be captured, you may turn off your camera during the event. However, please be aware that if you do, your name will be displayed in place of your image, unless you have uploaded an image to your profile in Zoom
• Breakout rooms will not normally be recorded
• Your comments in the chat box will not form part of the recording

Making Music reserves the right to cancel an event due to low attendance numbers, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances which make it no longer possible to run the event. If you have booked a place and Making Music cancels the event, we will offer you a full refund where applicable.
