Amadeus Chamber Orchestra is delighted to welcome conductor, Tess Jackson, and guitarist, Nathaniel Rosales-Merkies for the orchestra’s upcoming concert on 17 May 2025 in St Albans. Tess has been named a Classic FM 'Rising Star' and is Associate Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. Nathaniel is a recent graduate of the Purcell School for Young Musicians, and is now a Victor and Lilian Hochhauser scholar at the Royal College of Music. A little known but appealing divertimento by Lennox Berkeley opens this concert. This is followed by one of the most popular concertos of all time, namely, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. Beethoven's sublime Symphony no.6 concludes the programme. Amadeus Chamber Orchestra is grateful for the generous support given by the Lennox Berkeley Society for this concert.
